4-跟某位師長學習大論典，他是否就是我的上師？

問：我如果跟某位師長學習《現觀》、《中觀》這些論典，他是否就是我的上師？

答：

如果你在學這些論典時，沒有刻意想著自己只是來觀察他的話，他應該就已成為你的上師了。因為在聽課時，你有覺得他講的法可以利益你，已經有把法視為藥、把講法者視為醫生的作意，雖然這個作意不一定很強烈，但由於已經有這種作意，所以，除非你有刻意想著自己只是來觀察的，否則他應該已經是你的上師了。
